The hostels at DBI welcome students from various place and regions and experience the diverse culture. DBI provides separate Boys’ and Girls Hostel that are secure and have excellent facilities, both the hostels has respective warden who is in charge for discipline and welfare of the students. Situated close to the bank of the Brahmaputra River and the green surrounding that provide excellent opportunity for grow, development.

Savio Niwas Boys Hostel Inaugurated by Fr. JOSEPH ALMEIDA, SDB, Salesian Provincial, Guwahati and blessed by Most Rev. THOMAS MENAMPARAMPIL SDB, Archbishop of Guwahati on January 2008. Dedicated for the youth, it is situated in the main campus and can accommodate for more than 300 individuals (including DBI and MBA students) with furnished rooms, bathroom, terrace and access to the gymnasium and basketball court.

Luit Niwas Girls Hostel inaugurated by Rev Fr. JOSEPH ALMEIDA, SDB, Salesian Provincial, Guwahati and blessed by Most Rev. THOMAS MENAMPARAMPIL, SDB, Archbishop of Guwahati on January 2006. Located just a few meters away from the main campus dedicated to nurture the young women. It have accommodate for more than 200 individuals (including DBI and MBA students) with well furnished rooms, bathroom, terrace and clean water.
