As the Executive Director of Don Bosco Institute, I am continually inspired and delighted to witness the vibrant spirit of Don Bosco alive and thriving across our Kharghuli campus. The dedication and professionalism of our educators, coupled with the resilience, curiosity, and boundless ambition of our trainees, reaffirm our mission every day.

Our campus has had the honor of spearheading several flagship regional and national programs. A key accomplishment was hosting the 14th Tribal Youth Exchange Programme in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS). This landmark initiative fostered national integration, cultural understanding, and mutual respect among tribal youth leaders representing diverse states of India.
Similarly, DBI organized the State-Level Yuva Utsav under the Government of India’s Amrit Mahotsav initiative, celebrating creative talents in literature, performing arts, declamation, and cultural leadership.
Humanitarian Care & Educational Rehabilitation
True to our Catholic mission of outreach to the vulnerable, Don Bosco Institute provided free accommodation, nutritious food, psychological counseling, and full vocational education to over 300 displaced students from Manipur affected by civil distress.
We created a secure and supportive haven for these young learners to heal, acquire employable professional skills, and regain their futures. Many of these students have successfully graduated and secured dignified employment across India.
Academic Excellence & Thought Leadership
DBI remains at the forefront of pedagogical advancement. In recent sessions, we hosted the 3rd International Conference on Education for School Principals and Educational Administrators (ICONSPA), convening prominent researchers, keynote speakers, and educators to deliberate on digital innovations and modern institutional leadership.
Additionally, our annual publication, Interface, continues to serve as an intellectual platform documenting institute milestones, youth research, and student narratives.
Looking Forward: Growth, Quality & Partnership
As we look toward the future, we remain dedicated to upgrading laboratory infrastructure, expanding industry partnerships through our Placement Cell, and launching cutting-edge courses in Artificial Intelligence, digital technologies, and hospitality.
